Simon has a wealth of experience in the electronics and software technology industries with previous roles as financial director at ACT group, Imagination Technologies PLC and Anite Group. Simon is currently a private investor in various technology companies in both the UK and the USA. He was appointed to the board in 2007.
Bjorn joined Datapath in 2010 to lead the company in its continued growth. Bjorn brings substantial experience from the technology sector and has served as CEO at Cambrige Broadband Networks, the fast growing microwave company, and as CEO at UbiNetics, the UK 3G innovator, which was acquired in 2005. Bjorn has extensive experience from Ericsson where he spent 14 years. Bjorn holds an MSc in Electronic Engineering from Lund University in Sweden.
Tony was previously an Electronics Engineer at Rolls Royce in Derby, involved in the development of telemetry systems. After forming Datapath with Steve De'Ath in 1982, Tony has concentrated on product manufacture and logistics. He has 40 years experience in the electronics industry.
Appointed in 2007, Nigel qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994. He has held Financial Director posts in the IT sectors with Nexor and Mediawave Group but has experience outside of the industry with Belle Group, a £50m turnover manufacturing business. Nigel also brings a wealth of experience from his days as an independent consultant specialising in business improvement.
Software Engineering Director
Richard joined Datapath as a Senior Software Engineer in 1989 and has been a major contributor to many Datapath products since that time. In 2007 Richard was appointed head of software engineering and subsequently joined the board of directors in 2008. Richard has many years experience in the computer graphics industry and plays a key role in product development.
Hardware Engineering Director
John joined Datapath as a Senior Hardware Engineer in 2003 and has played a major role in developing Datapath's current product range. John graduated with a 1st Class Honours degree in Physics from the Imperial College and has over 20 years experience in the industry with previous roles at Kodak, Videologic and Virtually. In 2007 John was appointed head of hardware engineering and subsequently joined the board of directors in 2008.
Vice President of Global Sales
Darin joined Datapath in March 2016 with a wealth of experience. During his 16 years with Miranda Technologies, Darin built the Americas sales team and distribution channels as President of Miranda USA, before becoming Managing Director of Miranda EMEA and then President of Miranda Asia. He participated in several large acquisitions and was a key part of Miranda’s integration team and Executive Council. Darin was also recruited as President of the Broadcast division of VertigoXmedia where he successfully drove its expansion strategy, doubled sales, and moving the company into profitability.
Russell represents Foresight Group on the board of Datapath. Prior to joining Foresight, Russell worked at Parkmead Group, a merchant bank, where he was involved in a number of corporate and principal finance projects. He has spent ten years in technology and marketing management positions, including four years with Thomson Financial, following its acquisition of a financial information company of which he was CTO. Russell holds a degree in Classics from the University of Exeter and an MBA with distinction from London Business School.
Recently the Vice President and General Manager in the Collaboration Business at Cisco and a background with Logitech. Gina is now joining Datapath as a Non-executive Director. She has spent over 15 years in technology and marketing roles throughout California. Gina has built strong relationships throughout the US technology industry, while being focused on bringing video, telepresence and collaboration products to the consumer and business markets.
